Before Surgery: What to Expect

During Surgery
Phacoemulsification surgery takes about 15–20 minutes under local anaesthesia. Dr. Bhatti makes a micro-incision (under 2.4 mm), uses ultrasound energy to break up the cloudy lens, removes it, and implants a foldable premium IOL.
After Surgery: Recovery
Most patients notice improved vision within 24–48 hours. You'll need antibiotic and anti-inflammatory eye drops for 4–6 weeks. Avoid rubbing your eye, swimming, and dusty environments for 2 weeks.
